1977 RICKENBACKER 3001 BASS

1977 Ric 3001 features: Small headstock, black or white truss rod cover with raised letters logo, riveted tuners with slot head or Phillips head screws and black plastic shims under the tuner plates, bolt on neck with skunk stripe, 20 frets or fretless Brazilian rosewood board and pearloid dot fret markers, chrome 4 bolt neckplate, one hum cancelling single coil pickup covered in black plastic, black or white one ply pickguard, three black heptagonal shaped knobs with silver tops, chrome bridge assembly including mutes, black case with blue interior.

The letters on the chrome mono input jack plate determine the year and month of production. The digits indicate the number of production. Some examples of 1977 Rickenbacker serial numbers are:
