1974 G1 Grabber characteristics: Small V shaped blonde headstock with silkscreened black logo including the "i" dot connected to the "G" and open "o", "MADE IN U.S.A." stamp on back of headstock beneath the serial number, open gear riveted tuners with slot head screws, three screw plastic truss rod cover including the model name, pearloid dot fret markers, 4 bolt maple neck with dovetail joint headstock and no volute, Gibson name neck plate, single ply black pickguard with foil shielding on underside, moveable black pickup including Gibson embossed logo, chrome bridge cover, single slot saddle metal plate bridge, string through maple body, two black speed knobs including numbers and metal position pointers, input jack on pickguard, CTS potentiometers, "blue drop" capacitor, contoured black case with Gibson name and red interior.
