1969 Gibson EB2-D characteristics: Pearloid inlaid Gibson logo on headstock with no "i" dot and open "o", pearloid crown inlay centered on headstock, two screw plastic truss rod cover with no model name, Kluson clover riveted tuners with slot head screws, unbound rosewood 20 fret board with pearloid dot fret markers, two F holes in body, orange Gibson manufacturing sticker inside F hole, plastic binding on front and back of body, large four pole chrome humbucker pickup at neck butt plus a second 4 pole chrome mini-humbucker pickup with black plastic surround near the bridge, four silver top/black witch hat shaped knobs with with numbers, volume/tone words and metal position pointers, bass boost button, three way pickup selector switch, chrome bridge cover, two pole chrome tune-o-matic bridge with four intonation adjustable plastic saddles, string mutes, input jack on body front, molded black hard case with yellow interior.
