Antigua finish was available. Sometime before mid October, the control knobs changed from heptagonal to adding numbers and the word "volume" or "tone". The ground wire route underneath the bridge became round, in addition to oval shaped. The rectangular plastic case with rust colored interior was introduced, along with black Fender silver logo vinyl cases with orange or rust interiors.
